Maryam graduated from Sheffield University in 1993. Following graduation she spent several years in the field of Oral Surgery and Facial Reconstruction at two major Hospitals in Sheffield.

In 1995 Maryam entered General Practice where she developed an immediate interest in Cosmetic Dentistry.

In 2003 she completed a 1 year Certificate course in Restorative dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental institute in London.”

Dr Antony Bellaries
BDS, Special Interest in Endodontics

Antony Bellaries graduated from Newcastle University in 1997. After graduation and completion of his vocational training he worked in general practice in the North East for 8 years, where he developed his special interest in endodontics.

An active member of the British Society of Endodontology, he has attended many endodontic courses both in the UK and overseas.

He holds the certificate in endodontics qualification from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, which he intends to progress on to a full master’s degree. In addition he is currently studying for his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons (MJDFRCS).

Antony practices evidence based endodontics, with the aid of a microscope in a relaxed, friendly state of the art environment and is happy to take referrals for all aspects of endodontics including retreatment and instrument removal.

Fiona Heffron
Certificate in Dental Hygiene 1991

Fiona qualified as a dental hygienist in 1991 from Cardiff Dental School. Since that time she has gained extensive experience in hospital and community dental services, general dental practice and also specialist private practice.

Fiona is a part-time tutor dental hygienist at the Leeds Dental Institute and teaches student dental hygienists and therapists, dental students and dental nurses. She is regularly involved in post graduate teaching of Periodontics to general dentists and their hygienists.
